



| The Zechariah Project - helping to give immigrants their voice back. We are beginning our first class in basic English at the Stamford Korean Church on Sun. Oct. 14th New class in Cos Cob beginning in early March and beginning in May an 8 week class will begin at the High Ridge Korean United Methodist Church in Stamford. Open to all. | On Saturday June 9th 2012 eight members of DHUMC joined together to put their hands to the work of God by assisting our local food pantry (Neighbor2Neighbor) in their good work. May God continue to bless all those who use and serve the pantry. |
| On Sat. Oct. 13th 2012 we sponsored the annual Chili Cook-off fund raiser for our local food pantry. This year we raised 664 dollars, and thanks to the generosity of one person the amount is now $764. Our thanks to all who participated, in particular Carol W. for spearheading the event. |

This time with a mission project in our conference - Caring Hands Soup Kitchen in Kingston NY and operated by the good folks of Clinton Ave UMC. We have committed to 3 years of support with prayer and pocketbook. We are happy to be partners with a dynamic and inclusive project like Caring Hands. |
