| a poem by Mario Gerada of Malta (poet, human rights activist, mystic) A Place To Rest I rest my eyes on the surface of this beautiful sea, I rest my soul in these limpid waters of this beautiful shore. I rest my spirit amongst the corals and the sea horse. In my heart I travel in the garments of a monk, in the heart of the monk there is a young man traveling naked amidst tempests and scorching heat, in his heart there's a child playing laughing running echoing his joy, in this child's heart there is God dwelling in silent peace moving in ways mysterious to us all, in his heart he holds the world. |
If I could only wait for you By Hyun Joo Lee (minister, artist, dancer) If I could only wait for you If I could only live waiting for you I will be content even if you do not come To wait is to hope To wait is to persevere To wait is to trust till the end From the moment I was born, I have been waiting for you Through the passing years I will long for you till the moment I die Oh, If I could only wait for you If I could only die waiting for you I will be content even if you would never come. |
